FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NORTHWEST FLORIDA BEACHES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ECP) TO HOLD PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING DISCUSSING AIRPORT MASTER PLAN
Public Information Meeting to be Held at ECP
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (October 19 , 2020) – The Panama-City – Bay County Airport and Industrial District is nearing completion of the two-year long process of updating the Airport Master Plan (MPU) for the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) to account for changes that have taken place at the Airport and in the aviation industry since the completion of the Airport’s July 2015 Airport Master Plan. The updated Airport Master Plan will be used as a guide in developing and improving the Airport to address existing and future needs of the Airport and its users.
ECP will hold its first public informational meeting regarding the MPU on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 2 – 3:30pm Central Time.
Due to the unprecedented times we are experiencing, the meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. During the meeting, there will be a presentation of study findings and recommendations. Meeting attendees will have an opportunity to provide feedback and questions regarding the future of the Airport.
Those interested in attending virtually will need to register in advance by clicking here.
After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email containing detailed information about joining the meeting.
Access to meeting information and instructions will be posted on the ECP website, iflybeaches.com. A link to Master Plan Update information is located near the bottom of the homepage. The link includes registration information for the Public Meeting, previously submitted working papers and a copy of the public meeting presentation. The information will be posted no later than Friday, October 23, 2020.
“The communities’ input regarding the future needs of the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is strongly encouraged,” said Executive Director Parker W. McClellan, Jr., A.A.E.
