United Airlines to add 5 new nonstop flights at ECP this Spring
PANAMA CITY, FL (November 26, 2019) – Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) and United Airlines announce new nonstop service this Spring at ECP. United Airlines will be adding nonstop service on Saturdays in March between ECP and Austin (AUS), Chicago (ORD), Columbus (CMH), Denver (DEN) and St. Louis (STL).
“We are excited for United Airlines to add more nonstop service for our passengers this Spring,” said Parker W. McClellan, Jr., A.A.E., Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport Executive Director. “This new service allows us to welcome our friends from across the nation, and likewise, we expect these routes to be popular among our local residents.”
The new service aligns with spring break holiday schedules and the traditional uptick in tourism the Region experiences during the month of March. 2019 and 2020 will continue to bring countless reasons for friends and families to visit Panama City Beach, South Walton and surrounding areas, and now getting here is even easier for families out west.
ECP’s continued growth puts Northwest Florida on the map and ensures additional opportunities to the Region. Passenger totals for the upcoming year are expected to top 1.2 million visitors.
United Airlines operates internationally in more than 356 airports with more than 4,900 daily departures. Currently, United provides nonstop daily service between ECP and Houston, TX.
Passengers may begin booking flights to these new destinations today.
