AIRPORT TO UNVEIL HISTORY HALL IN HONOR OF 5TH ANNIVERSARY
PANAMA CITY, FL (May 26, 2015) – Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) to unveil History Hall in the airport in celebration of the fifth anniversary of ECP. History Hall memorializes the history of aviation in Bay County, from Fannin Field to the opening of the new airport.
The airport has seen many successes since the grand opening and even in the last six months. ECP has welcomed two new airlines, United Airlines and Silver Airways, as well as five new flights in the past few months.
“Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport has come a long way since our opening in 2010,” said Parker W. McClellan, Jr., executive director of the airport. “We want to take a moment to celebrate not only our recent successes, but remember those who traveled before us and laid the ground work for aviation in Bay County. We have a lot of history we should be proud of.”
