NORTHWEST FLORIDA BEACHES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ECP) ANNOUNCES NEW NONSTOP SERVICE TO AUSTIN-BERGSTROM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (AUS) WITH DELTA AIR LINES
NEW NONSTOP SERVICE TO BEGIN SPRING 2025
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (OCTOBER 2, 2024) — Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) announces new nonstop daily service with Delta Air Lines between ECP and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with Delta Air Lines. This new route, set to begin operations in March 2025, will provide travelers with more options and further enhance the connectivity of our region.
“This announcement marks another milestone for ECP as we continue to expand our offerings and improve accessibility for our travelers,” said Parker W. McClellan, Executive Director of ECP. “We are proud to partner with Delta and confident that this service will be another popular choice for both local residents and visitors.”
The introduction of this new service comes as ECP anticipates another record-breaking year. “We welcomed more passengers this past June than any other month in the history of the Airport, McClellan noted. “In 2023, we served over 1.6 million passengers, and we expect to see approximately 1.9 million passengers travel through our Airport this year.”
While this is Delta’s inaugural service between ECP and AUS, it is not the first time Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport has offered a nonstop connection to Austin. The return of this nonstop route underscores the continued growing demand for expanded air service in the region. With Delta’s extensive network, passengers flying from ECP will now have even greater access to destinations in the U.S. and beyond.
The flight between AUS and ECP will operate daily by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest on an Embraer ERJ-175 equipped with First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. Flights arrive at ECP at 4:28 p.m. and depart for AUS at 5:10 p.m. Tickets for the new nonstop service are available now, with flights commencing on Sunday, March 9, 2025, just in time for the busy spring travel season.
For more information and to book flights, passengers can visit ECP’s website or contact Delta Air Lines directly.
Flight schedules are subject to change at any time.
